Robotphoenix Strives for Industry Supremacy via Internal Optimization & Global Expansion

"Nothing can hold us back. We are fully determined to secure the top position in China's parallel robot sector," stated Zhang Sai, Chairman and President of Robotphoenix.

As one of China's earliest enterprises engaged in parallel robot R&D, Robotphoenix has accumulated 12 years of technological expertise. It has launched 17 models under the Bat series, covering payloads ranging from 3kg to 60kg. These robots are widely deployed for sorting, handling, packaging, gluing, assembly and inspection tasks across food, pharmaceutical, daily chemical, 3C electronics, automotive, new energy, semiconductor and other industries.

Beyond robot bodies, the company independently develops dedicated control systems compatible with over 10 robot configurations and multi-brand devices. To date, more than 600 self-developed controllers have been sold to third-party manufacturers. By the end of 2024, Robotphoenix had achieved cumulative sales of nearly 10,000 parallel robots, with an annual shipment target of 2,000 robots and 2,000 controllers respectively.

Internal Empowerment: All-round Performance Upgrade

Robotphoenix adheres to the development strategy of industrial collaboration plus global expansion, internal refinement plus external outreach. Internal refinement focuses on optimizing product performance and quality.

Launched in 2024, the new-generation Bat1600-S6 features in-house structural design and full-process independent development, with optional IP67 protection grade to adapt to harsh working environments.

By optimizing servo motor configuration and gear ratio matching, the robot achieves remarkable improvements in load capacity and operating speed:
  • Repeat positioning accuracy improved from ±0.08mm to ±0.05mm

  • Cycle time shortened from 0.49s to 0.32s under 25kg payload

  • Cycle time shortened from 0.61s to 0.44s under 90kg payload

Such upgrades are backed by in-depth customization of reducers, control algorithms and systematic full-range quality management.

All core components of this model are sourced domestically, realizing 100% localized production. Zhang Sai noted, "Long-term tests and market application prove that domestically-made reducers deliver core performance comparable to renowned overseas brands." The company also collaborates with reducer manufacturers to develop specialized gear heat treatment processes for higher precision retention and longer service life, and adopts integrated roller bearings to ensure high rigidity and maintenance-free operation.

The classic bestseller Bat800-S3 has also been fully upgraded. It features a rated payload of 3kg (max 12kg) and an 800mm working radius. After optimization, it reaches 240 cycles per minute under 0.1kg load and 180 cycles per minute under 3kg load, balancing high speed and stable operation, ideal for complex trajectory applications such as wet wipe capping machines.

Lightweight Design Cuts Costs and Boosts Efficiency

To break industry bottlenecks including limited market scale, high production cost and bulky structure, Robotphoenix optimizes structural design to lower costs while elevating performance.

Taking Bat1300-S6 as an example: its static platform is integrally cast with ZL101 aluminum alloy, while upper arms, lower arms and moving platforms adopt carbon fiber materials. The total machine weight drops from 160kg to 98kg, achieving a weight reduction of about 38.75%.

In terms of structural design, split-type housings and ABS engineering plastic shells are adopted, eliminating 36 parts and 116 screws. This simplifies assembly procedures, raises production efficiency and slashes overall costs by 21%. The optimization results come from systematic upgrades covering R&D, production and quality control, including material replacement, structural simulation, strength verification and resonance testing.

Industrial Collaboration Explores Incremental Markets

Vertical integration promotes cross-industry cooperation and unified industry standards to reduce overall operational costs; horizontal expansion strengthens in-depth partnerships with benchmark clients.

In overseas expansion, Robotphoenix started its layout in Canada’s food industry back in 2017. Currently its products are exported to more than ten countries across Europe, North America, Latin America and Southeast Asia, adopting a dual sales model of direct sales and authorized distribution with high customer repurchase rate and solid cooperative bonds.

In Southeast Asia, its tailored solutions are mainly applied in the 3C sector, including cellphone glass loading & unloading, panel transportation and lithium battery handling. Over 100 sets of its glass AF coating feeding machines have been exported to Vietnam, generating total sales exceeding 30 million RMB.

In Latin America, the brand focuses on daily chemical industry applications. Its fully automatic wet wipe capping workstations exported to Brazil realize automatic labeling, gluing and capping, replacing at least 3 workers per unit, with cumulative shipments exceeding 100 units.

Given the currently low market penetration of parallel robots in food, pharmaceutical and 3C industries, Robotphoenix expands application boundaries by exploring segmented scenarios and tapping emerging markets simultaneously.

"Our core strategy is to consolidate performance advantages, lower application costs and await the upcoming industry boom," said Zhang Sai, CEO of Robotphoenix.
